Data controller

What data

  • Browsing and security. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, records data such as the IP address and the pages requested, for technical and security reasons. Before the Attag chat or voice opens, an anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) verifies that you are not an automated program.
  • Our own statistics, without cookies. We count visits with our own system, without cookies and without storing the IP address: pages viewed, source, time and scrolling, clicks on WhatsApp, phone, email and links, city, region and network derived from the connection, device type, operating system, browser, language and screen size. The visit is tied to a random code that stays in the browser tab and disappears when you close it. This data is deleted after 13 months.
  • Attag, our AI assistant (chat and voice). If you write or talk to Attag, what you write or say, the answers and the page you start from are sent to the artificial intelligence providers that run it (Anthropic for the chat, OpenAI for voice and transcription) and kept by us, together with the city and region of the connection, in order to reply, check quality and costs and improve Attag’s answers. We do not record your voice: we keep the text of the conversation. Attag is an artificial intelligence and can make mistakes: final prices and timescales are confirmed by us. Do not write personal data that is not needed. Conversations are deleted after 12 months.
  • Contact details you leave us. If you leave your phone number or email after an Attag estimate, or write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we use your contact details and what you write to get back to you and, if we work together, for the contract.

Why and on what legal basis

  • Replying to you, preparing quotes and contracts: pre-contractual measures and contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Website security, anti-bot check, our own cookie-free statistics, quality and costs of Attag: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Tax obligations for clients: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Who receives the data

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — infrastructure, security, anti-bot check, database;
  • Anthropic and OpenAI — running the Attag chat and voice;
  • Google (Gmail) and Meta (WhatsApp) — if you choose to write to us through these services;
  • our accountant, for clients, and the authorities when required by law.

These providers may process data in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for providers that participate in it (such as Google and Cloudflare), or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, included in the data processing agreements of the artificial intelligence providers.

For how long

Our own statistics: 13 months. Conversations with Attag: 12 months. Messages and contact details of people who do not become clients: 12 months. Client data: for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You can also contact the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
